It's got to be Shericka Jackson. That stunning 24.41 in the women's 200m. Just scintillating. That distance that she won by was fantastic.

  3. 'A bittersweet moment but I'm really proud'

Great Britain's Morgan Lake after finishing fourth in the high jump: "Very, very bittersweet moment. I coming in I was ranked sixth, I knew I was in the fight for the medals. I never lost that faith. This time last year I cried on TV and said this is the end. I am really proud of myself.

"It has also been hard year personally - my dad getting seriously ill in April. He has taught me so much strength and that whatever is going on you can achieve what you dream. I have kept that all the way through the season. I am really happy with that."

  4. 'Bol was incredible'

    Best moment of the championships?

    Michael Johnson

Four-time Olympic gold medallist athlete on BBC TV

We talk a lot about how athletes come into the interviews and say they're disappointed, and we'll say after some time to reflect on this they'll be okay with that.

I think it's going to be the opposite for Keely. I think when she goes back and reflect on this she'll think this was her opportunity and she'll think she can do better. I think it will drive her in that way. People are driven differently.

She is a champion-level athlete and when you're a champion-level athlete, you feel the gold is yours.

  7. 'Hodgkinson gave everything'

    Women's 800m final

I think Keely Hodgkinson believes she had her tactics right. I think she gave everything. There was nothing more she could have done.

She came up against a better athlete on the day. I know that's obvious but sometimes you've got to just be at peace with yourself in that moment that you've not left anything out there.

Great Britain's men's relay team have been speaking to BBC Sport after their bronze.

Alex Haydock-Wilson said: "We come out here and we know that these are the world's best. In fact, it wasn't that long ago all of us were just watching them on TV thinking 'man where would I be in a race like that?'. And here we are on the podium, in a race like that!"

Charlie Dobson said: "It's unreal. Everything I had to do was for the team."

Lewis Davey: "We're a group of young lads and we came here to take on the world."

Rio Mitcham: "I don't doubt these guys one bit but I don't doubt myself by a single, single, single centre metre. I just knew we had it in us. Haydock's the guy! Charlie, we already know he's the guy! Lewis, he's the guy! I'm too happy, I love these guys."

Great Britain and Northern Ireland's women's 4x400m relay team talking to BBC Sport.

Laviai Nielsen: "We are so strong as a team and we've had such incredible words behind the scenes. I knew that if I set it up well, these girls would carry it on forward. I was doing it for them as much as myself."

Ama Pipi: "We're such a strong team and it's so exciting to be a part of it. I know that we're really strong so I was focused on getting the baton to Nicole in a really good position."

Nicole Yeargin: "I held my own and tried my best. The last two minutes got real loud! It was good entertainment at least I guess."

  14. 'Hodgkinson didn't take race to rivals'

Keely Hodgkinson and Jemma Reekie both committed really hard. Keely ran other people's races and didn't take the race to them at any point. That is something for her to build on. I am not sure anyone was going to get past Mary Moraa once she got into that position on the front.

  15. Best of the Worlds - Treble for Lyles

Does men's sprinting finally have a successor to Usain Bolt?

Perhaps too early to say but Noah Lyles certainly proved he's the man to beat right now as he won three gold medals in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay.
